As we quickly approach the one-year mark of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are proud to announce that the VPP Employee Assistance Fund is continuing to grow and provide support to our VPP team members. The Fund was created at the start of the pandemic by VPP’s new CEO, John McDonough, to support staff at VPP Hospitals that were financially impacted by the pandemic. Over the last 11 months, VPP has continued to raise money from its own team members and has been fortunate enough to receive generous donations from our valued business partners.
We are excited and honored to have recently received support from our wonderful business partner, Royal Canin, and wanted to acknowledge their generous contribution. Royal Canin is an exceptional partner not only in providing the world’s most precise pet health nutrition but also in helping to take care of and support all the people in the VPP hospital family. Your generous contribution to our Employee Assistance Fund is yet another testament to our partnership and a very worthy cause.
To date, the Fund has raised over $165,000 and has paid out a significant portion of that to over 200 VPP staff members to help them during this challenging time. We are so thankful for our business partners. Their generous contributions have been so helpful and are a true reflection of the veterinary community’s values.
