We are thrilled to share that we will be offering the VetBloom Veterinary Assistant Program once again. This program is a great way to gain the relevant knowledge and experience needed for a career in animal health. The Veterinary Assistant Program through VetBloom is an approved program through the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA), and individuals who successfully complete the online training and practical hands-on experience are then qualified to sit for the Approved Veterinary Assistant (AVA) exam.
Here are some examples of what you will learn while participating in this program:
– Basic medical terminology
– Medical record keeping
– Animal husbandry and hygiene between patients
– Basic animal restraint
– Dog and cat breed identification
– Common diseases and medical conditions
– Basic pharmacology…and more!
